HOTFIX TOOLS... what is the difference?
For the most part, most hotfix tools 'work' the same. They get hot, heat the stones, etc. However, the tools we carry have a warranty and the companies stand behind their product.
All our Hotfix tools at our store have UNIVERSAL VOLTAGE.. you can use the tool anywhere in the world (some countries may require a plug adapter & IS AVAILABLE on most listings)
INTERNATIONAL TOOLS W/ SPECIALTY PLUGS/ADAPTERS:
We carry the KANDI PRO/LORNA with ATTACHED plugs for EU & UK. ALSO AVAILABLE is a Universal Adapter that works in many countries including AU.
BEJEWELER Listings will have w/ UK plug adapter OR w/Universal Adapter.... there is a difference! SO if you need EU or AU, please choose the tool with the UNIVERSAL plug adapter! (IF YOU AREN'T SURE, JUST ASK!)

The Kandi Pro has an on/off switch on the tool, but doesn't have a cleaning brush. TIPS: 2,3,4,5,6,7mm rhinestone tips and 4&9mm flat tips.
The Bejeweler PRO is well-known and is the tool we have been using and selling for almost 4 years. It is a great tool and what i use. Also COMES WITH A CLEANING BRUSH. TIPS: 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7mm rhinestone tips & flat/hot spot tip.
We started carrying the Kandi Pro because we couldn't keep the Bejeweler Pro in stock all of the time. Although the Kandi was our 'back up' tool, you will be happy with either one.

HELPFUL HINTS
Stones fall off too easily? MOST IMPORTANT thing to do is make sure you are getting the stones HOT ENOUGH!
The glue will appear wet and start to bubble - it is ready. Obviously the larger the stone, the more time it will take. to make CERTAIN the glue sticks to your material well, I immediately 'tap' or press the stone's glue 'into' the material by using a butter knife to press stone. Because you don't know the exact pressure you placed the stone onto the material, you may not have gotten it well enough. THIS PRESSING of the stone ensures better adhesion. Must do it immediately after placing the stone.
Other issues:
There is a slot on the side of each rhinestone tip which can be used to push the rhinestone out if it gets stuck. This usually happens only if you push down while applying the rhinestone or if you hold the tip onto the surface of your fabric rather than immediately placing the stone and lift the tip. Use a needle to push the stone out, then brush the tip thoroughlywith a wire brush.
· For a quick method of decorating with two or more sizes of crystals, use 2 or more tools so you can switch from one to the other without waiting for the tool to cool off before switching tips.
· When applying nailheads and jewel cut rhinestones, use the solid metal "Hot Spot" tip. You can also purchase the larger 'cluster' tip which allows you to place trims closely together and heat them all at the same time.
